Phil volgde opleidingen in Ericksoniaanse hypnotherapie, NLP, cognitieve psychotherapie, korte strategische psychotherapie en provocatieve therapie.

Hij was in Engeland een van de eerste trainers die provocatieve therapie en provocatief coachen begon te onderwijzen (na Frank Farrelly uiteraard). De titel van zijn introductieworkshop in Engeland is: ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ en de vervolg-workshop heet: ‘The Return of the Devil’s Advocate’.

Phil werkt momenteel als therapeut en trainer in Londen en Birmingham. Hij is bezig met een boek dat als titel zal gaan dragen: ‘Planet Zobboff, quantum physics, provocative therapy, laughter, love, peace, the universe and all. An advanced introduction for beginners. Volume I’.
