NLP Robocoach MindMentor
MindMentor is onze experimentele electronische psycholoog.

MindMentor was originally developed by Drs. Jaap Hollander and Drs. Jeffrey Wijnberg, two experienced flesh-and-blood psychologists from Holland, and is currently being developped further by Jaap Hollander.
1. Neuro linguistic programming (NLP): a system for personal development that emerged in California in the early eighties and is still popular today. NLP helps people discover and change the structure of their inner experience. This is MindMentor’s main approach.
2. Projective testing. This is a technique widely used by psychologists. The most famous example is the Rorschach test (the one with the ink blots). Projective testing is a way to bring unconscious knowledge into consciousness.
3. Provocative therapy: an innovative system of therapy, originally developed by Frank Farrelly of Madison, Wisconsin. Provocative therapy helps people by challenging them.
4. Client centered therapy, a very common type of therapy, originally developed by Carl Rogers. Client centered therapy helps people gain clarity by approaching them with a very positive attitude and restating what they have said.
5. Pavlovian or ’classical’ conditioning. This process connects certain mental and emotional responses to images. This is MindMentor’s way of helping people to easily connect or ’anchor’ inner resources to the situations where they need them

What is MindMentor?
MindMentor is a robot psychologist. He guides you through a series of psychological steps. He helps you solve problems and achieve goals. He doesn’t come up with standard answers. He lets you to look inside, understand yourself and find your own solutions. The MindMentor process takes about an hour.
MindMentor was originally developed by Drs. Jaap Hollander and Drs. Jeffrey Wijnberg, two experienced flesh-and-blood psychologists from Holland, and is currently being developped further by Jaap Hollander.
What kind of problems and goals can MindMentor help me with?
MindMentor will work with any type of problem or goal. He works best with problems like stress, family problems, relationship problems, motivation, life mission questions, sleepless nights, worrying, conflicts with friends or colleagues, et cetera. Unfortunately, he usually cannot cure severe disorders like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, hard drug addiction, et cetera. He can be a resource if you suffer from these kinds of problems, but you will still need live support from a psychologist or a psychiatrist. But apart from these extreme problems, which we hope you don’t suffer from, MindMentor can help you solve a wide range of problems and achieve a great many goals...How is this possible?
Some people will say that what MindMentor does is impossible. Or that the whole idea is ridiculolus. How can a computer program give real psychological support? The secret is that MindMentor helps you find your own solutions. Hollander and Wijnberg did some research in 2006, and they discovered that MindMentor solved people’s problems for 47% on average. An impressive figure, especially when you bear in mind that this was a more primitive version, and that it took only one single session. What is MindMentor’s approach based on?
The way MindMentor works, is based on five psychological systems:1.
This is MindMentor’s way of helping people to easily connect or ’anchor’ inner resources to the situations where they need them
But is it safe?
MindMentor will never give your information to anyone. But if you are concerned about your privacy, you could even sign up under a fake name; a pseudonym. With this fake name you could even open an free e-mail address like hotmail. That way MindMentor will not know who you are and he won’t know your real e-mail address. It does take some time
Start your session with MindMentor when you have about an hour to spare. If you don’t have an hour, come back some other time. You can pause your session and come back later to finish it. If you never have an hour to solve your problems or work on your goals, could that be a problem to work on?Voor meer infromatie of voor een ’proefrit’, gaat u naar: http://www.mindmentor.com
